We observe the lord's Supper weekly as the central act of Christian worship.
We encourage the members of this local church body to live according to the example of Jesus Christ.
We regard the members of this local church body not as the only Christians, but as Christians only. We seek oneness with all believers in matters essential to the Christian faith.
We invite into this fellowship of believers all who would commit themselves to the Lordship of Jesus Christ according to the terms of His will in the New Testament.

About First Church of Christ and Our Beliefs
The members of the First Church of Christ represent a New Testament, non-denominational church. We believe the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and exists to save the lost and edify the saved.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit - three-in-one, the Trinity. (Matthew 28:19)
We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the one and only Son of God, who died for our sins and arose from the dead as the Savior of the world. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God - it is God-breathed. We believe that Scripture is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice, and the only sufficient guide for the Church and the Christian life.
(II Timothy 3:16)
We believe that every person has immeasurable worth as a creation of God, but that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
We believe that forgiveness of sins, and the promise of eternal life are available to all those who accept, Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We believe that salvation is through the grace of God and "not by works, so that no one can boast." (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9)
